Canon EOS R6 Specs Preview

The news from the Canon EOS R6 has got me a little excited…

So it seems despite all the disruption and uncertainty around at the moment we are still getting all the rumours and leaks from Canon. That development office is surely the least water tight of them all… at this point we’ve seen so many leaked specs from their 2020 releases that it seems like it can’t be accidental. I’m almost certain it’s part of their marketing/hype building plan. Either way it works and the news from the Canon EOS R6 has got me a little excited.

Rumours are that this new mirrorless from Canon could well be their mid-range offering, a slimed down version of the EOS R5 8k monster and perhaps a step-up from the EOS RP. From all accounts we’re potentially looking at a Early Summer/Late Spring release on this camera and possibly with a sub $2,000 price point, making it super competitive.
