A new image of the upcoming Leica M11 digital rangefinder camera has ben leaked online. This time it’s reported to have come from the official Leica website. The previous leak included an image alongside some rumoured specifications.
According to our well trusted source, the new image is the official face for the Leica M11 camera.
Here are the rumoured specifications for the upcoming camera:
- No baseplate (setup will be similar to the Leica Q2)
- USB-C support
- New Leica BP-SCL7 battery and BC-SCL7 charger
- Equipped with 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi
- Features Bluetooth
Details are still limited but a new Visoflex is expected which will be compatible with the current Leica M10 models and there are various M11 sensor rumours at the moment. A built-in EVF is also a possibility for this camera.
It’s suspected that the upcoming Leica M11 camera is the already registered Leica model 2416 which passed Bluetooth inspection in September. The original announcement was expected in November but Leica might be waiting until 2022 now.
