The upcoming Nikon APC-S mirrorless camera is expected to be announced at the end of June but we still don’t know much about this yet. It’s suspected this may be the Nikon Z30 but this is still uncertain since Nikon has two cameras to announced this year. While there’s a lot of uncertainty still, we do know this new announcement will be for a mirrorless camera.
According to the new information, the new camera will include many of the same components used to create the Nikon Z50 and ZFC cameras. This includes the same 20.9MP DX-format CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 6 image processor featured in both. There will be no new sensor but it’s unknown if there will be any kind of upgrade here. Considering the new camera has been likened to the Nikon Z range, it seems likely that Nikon will announce the Z30 very soon.
The new camera model is expected to cost under $1,000 but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. It should be announced at the end of this month or in early July.
