Ricoh has been forced to issue a notice about the delivery schedule of its new Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition camera. The camera has finally been released but the pre-orders for it have “greatly” exceeded the original exceptions. Manufacturer Ricoh has acknowledged that this is causing delays since they didn’t have the supply needed for launch day.
Various online retailers selling the new Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition camera have it listed as out of stock or still only for pre-ordering. The UK Amazon sale page is currently listing it as “usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months” with its expected for delivery time for mid-August to late September.
The expected supply issue for the new camera seems to have become a real problem for those who pre-ordered the Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition. Ricoh states that “it may take time to deliver the product” and the company apologises for the inconvenience the supply issues have caused.
